Investigator-initiated Research Projects

HMRF invites research grant proposals from individual researchers in response to "open call" invitations for research grant applications guided by reference to the research areas and thematic priorties.

The normal cost ceiling for a research proposal is $1,200,000; the usual duration is 2 years. Higher grants or grants of longer duration may be awarded where justified.

For investigator-initiated projects, information on the project title, applicant(s), administering institution(s), amount of funding and an abstract are available on the List of Approved Projects. Upon project completion, final reports and dissemination reports will be made available for public access on this page.
